The screw type dry mortar mixer adopts three layers of spiral belts as agitators inside and pushes the material in different directions through the inner and outer layers of the screw to form a convection mixing method. After repeated convection and tumbling mixing, the material is mixed evenly.
Horizontal ribbon mixer models are 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 5000 and other models. The output is 500kg/time, 1000kg/time, 2000kg/time, 3000kg/time, 5000kg/time.

The advantages of ribbon blender:
The ribbon blender mixer is smaller than the standard dry mixer, so it occupies a smaller area and saves a lot of space for the workshop. The whole process takes up less workforce and is easy to operate.
The most significant advantage is that the price is competitive; a small investment has a substantial return. Great for small businesses.
Disadvantages of powder ribbon mixer:
Spiral ribbon mixers are generally not equipped with automatic weighing devices and rely entirely on manual operation, manual feeding, and measurement. The entire production line requires 3-4 workers. The labor cost is relatively high. With the increase in output, the space for the later transformation of the ribbon mixer is small. It may not be sufficient for high-volume dry mix mortar production.
Double shaft paddle mixer machine
The double-shaft gravity-free paddle mixer has a fast mixing speed, high uniformity, and no segregation of materials with significant differences in specific gravity, particle size, and shape. The discharging method is to open the door, and the discharging is clean.
How does a double shaft paddle mixer work?
The twin shaft paddle mixer is loaded with two blade shafts that rotate outward simultaneously. Under the driving device’s action, the blades’ running trajectories are in an intersecting relationship. The rotating paddle throws the material into the upper part of the cylinder, the material is in a weightless state, and the paddle drives the material. If you have specific requirements on the output and there is a need to expand production in the future, we recommend that you choose a double shaft paddle mixer. Generally speaking, the double shaft paddle mixer types have DWZ2000, DWZ4000, and DWZ6000; the output is 5-60 tons per hour.

The uniformity of the mixing

The level of degree is directly related to the quality of the product. At the same time, the uniformity of the double-shaft paddle mixer is higher.
Is there any residue?
The residual amount of material will cause unevenness between batches of materials. The tightness of the dry mortar mixer is significant. If the gap reaches 10mm, the material will not be removed entirely. Many residues will directly affect the content of various components in the next batch of materials, resulting in each pack of materials’ quality. Inhomogeneity between materials. There is one thing that we cannot ignore. The fewer raw materials added, the more expensive it is, and the more significant the impact on performance. Therefore, when choosing a powder mixer, you should pay attention to the sealing degree of mixing.
The service life of the mixer and the list of wearing parts should be guaranteed by the manufacturer when choosing a dry mortar mixer. Otherwise, explosion, bearing damage, leakage of materials, etc., will increase our maintenance costs during use.
Whether the dry mortar mixer is good or bad mainly depends on the design of the bearing. If the bearing design is unreasonable, then it is how much steel plate you use, how big the motor is, and how advanced the reducer is. If your bearing fails, then your equipment is just a pile of scrap metal.

Look at the service life of the bearing, whether the approach has noticeable wear during the whole working process and the material and thickness of the bearing.
